Our friendly Formation team provides support throughout each project working closely with architects, lighting designers, MEP consultants and all other members of a project team.
GET INSPIRED – It all starts with a concept.
It doesn’t matter to us whether you have a specific idea in mind or whether you are starting with a blank sheet of paper, with our knowledge and experience in the lighting industry we can create a bespoke lighting solution that will fulfill your requirements.
We will work with you to assess the priorities of your design: how it should look, any specific functionality, what sort of lighting performance you’re looking for – and from this, we will draft a design presentation for you outlining our solution.
FINE TUNE – 3D model and design.
With a design solution in mind, our dedicated design team will build a three-dimensional model of the solution to show the practicality of the design, how it is assembled and to demonstrate its final appearance. This process will also highlight any previously unforeseen conflicts that may affect the final product.
A set of one or more drawings will then be generated from this model detailing the final dimensions and specifics of the design for approval prior to any production.
MEASURE TWICE – Prototyping and testing.
Through a combination of fabrication and 3D printing we create a complete prototype of the final product, this allows our design team and our client to evaluate the product and assess that it meets all the design expectations. These include aesthetics, electrical functionality and lighting performance.
MAKE IT A REALITY – In-house assembly.
Once approved for manufacture our design team will generate fabrication drawings for all custom components needed and create a full set of assembly blueprints ready for product assembly.
